Mount Teide

Mount Teide

In the middle of the Island of Tenerife sits Mount Teide, which is 3718 meters high and the tallest mountain in Spain and the world’s third largest volcano and its still active!

Teide Natural Park surrounds this historic wonder, a geological treasure filled with craters, vents, lava flow and different materials that form an impressive array of shapes and colours.

It takes roughly an hour to travel up the winding roads, and the “moon” like landscape at the base of the volcano is mesmerising making the journey worthwhile.

A must see when visiting the island of Tenerife!
