La Caleta is a small quiet fishing village and resort with exceptional bars and restaurants that look out over the crystal clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
Enjoy scenic walks along the coastline here or go for a swim and soak up the sun on giant flat rocks that lie close to the small quiet bay.
Walk to the 5 star resorts of Adeje and Playa de las Americas along the coastal path and within minutes from La Caleta you’ll reach the stunning blue flag beach of Playa del Duque, probably the finest beach on the Island with white sand brought from deserts of Africa. The path goes all the way to Los Cristianos if you wish to continue.
If you walk in the opposite direction, away from Playa de las Americas, you will find rough trails along the coast to a couple of quiet coves such as Playa de Diego Hernandez used by naturists.
